The WaterSwitch® works on a principle we call “Direct Water Allocation™.” This means the valve that allows the water to flow opens and closes automatically based on when you use water. When using water, the valve is open. When not using water, the valve is closed and dual pressure sensors monitor for any leaks in your plumbing. The valve opens and closes in less than one second. The water meter will quantify usage and also the amount of the leak.

The WaterSwitch® is installed just after your main water shut-off, typically in the wall where your main water line comes in.
How long does the installation take?
The installation time should be less than an hour. We use wireless technology and have the process streamlined for your convenience. The basic installation is “Plug and Play.”
Will I notice a loss in pressure?
The manifold itself doesn’t affect your pressure. Different water filters can reduce pressure 1 to 2 psi but that is normally not noticeable.
Do I get a discount on my home insurance?
In many cases Insurance companies do give discounts between 5 and 15 percent. We are working with all major insurance companies to get discounts in place. We will provide you with a certificate of installation which you can send to your insurance company to determine if you qualify for a rate decrease.

Yes, it is backed by a 5-year warranty. It has a 1-year parts and labor while the 2nd through 4th year covers the cost of parts. It’s built for years of trouble-free service.

No, water flows instantly just as it would without the WaterSwitch®. We addressed this in the patented design of the WaterSwitch®. It’s similar to flipping on a light switch.

Yes, it will work with wells and may even prevent you from burning out your pump in a low pressure situation with the optional electrical disconnect!
Does it have to be serviced?
The whole house water filter should be changed every three months. You can change the filter yourself in less than a minute. The batteries should be changed every two to three years. Indicators on the APP will notify you when this needs to happen. The WaterSwitch™ should be serviced about every 5 years. Part costs are less than $20 dollars. Labor rates vary depending on location.
